NW Friends Inclusion DSP Job Description

As a part-time DSP at NWFI, your role will include:
Providing meaningful companionship and personalized care to clients.
Assisting with community inclusion by participating in engaging activities and providing safe transportation.
Supporting independence by encouraging self-care and personal growth.
May include: Helping with daily living activities such as light household tasks like meal preparation, grocery shopping, errands.
Promoting life skills, such as tipping etiquette, socializing with peers, and making healthy food choices.
Ensuring safety and responding to emergencies when necessary.
Documenting progress and observations about your clients.

Pay: $23/hour, plus $0.65 per mile reimbursement for travel with clients. Additional $2/hour for covering shifts when coworkers are out.
Flexible Hours: Work as little as 12 hours/week or up to 20 hours/week, with schedules tailored to your availability (most common shifts are 10 AM–2 PM).

18+ years old.
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Ability to pass a background check.
Reliable vehicle and good driving record.
1 year of related experience preferred.
Smartphone proficiency.
Must maintain HIPAA and confidentially standards.
Be able to pass State of Oregon Background Check.
